Horizontal display cases are used in gift shops, restaurants, at checkout, museums, schools, libraries and
corporate or government buildings. Specifically they have been used as optical displays, display cases for collectibles,
jewelry displays, trophy cases, and memorabilia display cases. What ever kind of retail
presentation need you have we can build a display showcase for you.
We offer Horizontal display showcases in several design styles: Contemporary, Traditional, Museum style
and Queen Anne. Each of these display cases can be modified by size, wood, finishes and lighting.
This illustration shows the different showcase window sizes that are available. Jewelry showcases have 9″ glass panels
while the Half Vision have 16.5″ panels. If you wish for more vision then the Full Vision is 22.5″ available to you. Extra Vision has a 27.5″ Vision.

Classic Rectangular Jewelry Showcase SeriesThis case is perfect for jewelry and other small items. The glass area is 9″ high and the storage area is 28″ high. Lighted cases include full spectrum halogen lights or Fluorescent lights. Locking, sliding, mirrored doors with metal runners are standard. The case comes with black pads.

Half Vision Showcase Series(Image shown is actually a Full Vision showcase) Half Vision style has a 16 1/2″ high front glass viewing panel. This case has solid wood trim with veneer side panels. The case shown here is 48″ wide, 22″ deep, and 40″ high. Other standard widths are 5′ and 6′. We will be happy to build any size you want. Lighted cases may be ordered with fluorescent or full spectrum halogen lights. Half vision cases include one adjustable 16″ glass shelf. The sliding mirrored doors have top quality metal runners and wheels. Two 22″ deep adjustable glass shelves are included. This corner case is easy to access with its two sliding mirrored doors. Our retail display cases are built from hardwoods and wood veneer. All of our store displays are coated with a clear finish to give it a protective coating. We provide a color chart of Minwax stains which provides a large range of colors from which to choose. To make sure you get the look you want a sample of the stained wood will be provided for your approval. Creating a unique look for your store can be fun and our experienced staff will be glad to help.
For security our Horizontal showcases have locks and security hinges on sliding doors or hinged doors.
At retail it is very important that your product has plenty of lighting. Having lighting of the right color is also important. Depending upon your product we recommend either cool white LED or cool white Fluorescent lights to adequately highlight your product. LED lights emit very little heat compared to other lights. LED lights are most often used for jewelry or gift items. Reducing the cost and hassle of replacing bulbs is another benefit of LED lights due to their long life span.

At Showcases-Smart we can customize a display showcase by modifying it in multiple ways. For instance you can take a Horizontal Showcase shown in oak and build them in Maple, Cherry, Walnut, Mahogany or Red Oak. We then can stain the showcase the shade for a similar look throughout the store.
Some of our horizontal jewelry display cases can be built with a frameless method we call “Glass on Glass”. The glass is glued together instead of encased in a frame. This can provide a very open and contemporary look.
Showcases-Smart offers several sizes of glass panels depending upon your need. We can make the front glass panels as following:
Jewelry Vision – 9” high
Half Vision – 16 ½” high
Full Vision – 22 ½” high
Extra Vision – 27.5” high

We offer several material options for the bottom decking material. Choose the one that will highlight your product best: mirror, white or black hardboard or white or black fabric.
Our Horizontal showcases can be used in the middle of the room, side by side or against a wall. Inside and outside corner cases are also available. By adding corner cases a multitude of display case floor layouts are possible. Develop a unique configuration with varying height display cases side by side, a “U” shape or an island display area.
